Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
dvbx ("the app") is operated by Anduin Systems. This policy explains what information the app and our backend at dvbx.anduin.systems collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
What we collect
- Location — If you grant permission, the app uses your device location on-device to sort nearby stops. Location is not sent to our servers.
- Installation ID — A random identifier stored on your device and sent to our server when you start a Live Activity. We use it for rate limiting and to associate live updates with your device.
- Push tokens — If you enable notifications or Live Activities, Apple push tokens are sent to our server so we can deliver arrival updates.
- Trip details — When you start a Live Activity, we store trip and stop information (line, direction, departure time, stop IDs) temporarily on our server until the trip ends.
- On-device data — Favorite stops and cached transit data are stored locally on your device.
What we do not collect
- No account, name, email, or phone number is required to use the app.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Third-party services
- VVO / DVB transit API — Departure and trip data is fetched from public transit APIs. Requests may include stop or trip IDs, not personal identifiers.
- Apple Push Notification service — Used to deliver Live Activity and notification updates.
- Sentry — Our server may log technical errors for reliability. These logs are not used to identify individual users.
Retention
Live Activity records are marked ended after the scheduled departure time. We do not keep them indefinitely.
Your choices
- Deny or revoke location and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- Delete the app to remove on-device data.
- End a Live Activity at any time from your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do.
